Oh that we will take with us “Words for the Weary” from Isaiah 50:4-9a and Romans 12:9-21!  Return to them often during the week and beyond.

Be lifted by God, The Ground of your being, sustained each day until you and lifted to heaven.  We explore the power of intercessory prayer.  A story by the 13th century Persian poet, Rumi, toward the end of the sermon and his words about love: “that flame which, when it blazes up, burns away everything except the Everlasting Beloved.”

The sermon closes with Pastor singing, “Be Not Afraid” by Bob Dufford, S.J.
