This last Sunday of the church year is Christ the King Sunday. The Gospel is the wondrous story of “The Good Thief” in Luke 23:33-43. A Christian spiritual teacher once said that “The thief on the left wanted to be taken down; the thief on the right wanted to be taken up.” Ups and downs in life are laid out with a humorous story of the seesaw with Pastor Nick and his wife, Gina.
