We often wait tapping our foot with impatience. We live in an instant information word: Enter something into Google, and there it is! We are prone to instant gratification. Spiritual waiting is very different. We await in the silence for the movement of the Holy Spirit–power from on high. It’s anchored in the present moment. Breaths in and out can become prayers for others.
